Neurodiversity & Inclusion

Welcome as you are!

Everyone goes to work with energy and comes home fulfilled!

Rebelski does not like labels

Are you searching for neurodiversity, inclusion, brain-friendly, or LGBTQ+? Then you have come to the right place. At Rebelski, it is all about what helps you in both your mind and your body. You do not have to explain anything. Not who you love. Not which label you were once given. I look at you: what you feel, what you do, and what helps you navigate the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Neurodiversity in plain language
For me, neurodiversity means that brains work differently and sometimes deviate from the norm. One person thinks quickly and broadly, another deeply and precisely; one expresses themselves easily, while another keeps it inside. Many people are sensitive to stimuli to a greater or lesser extent.

I look at what you need to participate effectively and enjoyably in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and to ensure you feel confident asking for what you need.

Brain- and body-friendly means:

  • short steps and clear language;
  • one thing at a time (no overload);
  • a pace that suits you or your team;
  • attention to stimuli, tension, and recovery;
  • any diagnosis is not leading; it is about how you handle it;
  • agreements you can maintain on your busiest day.

You do not have to work harder on yourself. You are going to take better care of yourself. And make better choices.

Do you recognize this?

  • you often adapt, and that costs you a lot of energy;
  • your mind never switches off;
  • your body is often “on”;
  • you want to feel less pressure and make more choices;
  • you want to take yourself seriously, without the drama.

Everyone goes to work with energy and comes home fulfilled!

Which tools fit a neurodiverse brain- and body-friendly approach?

1. Positive psychology, questionnaires, or an assessment

I use models from positive psychology. This means I base my work on your qualities, talents, and pitfalls. I also offer assessments and use my own questionnaires and methodologies, based on my education and experience, because some questions are simply silly or insufficiently challenging.

I aim to clarify:

  1. what works for you;
  2. what is holding you back;
  3. which patterns keep recurring;
  4. what you need to move forward.

2. Values, your internal compass

Values bring peace of mind. Not because everything suddenly becomes easy, but because you or your team know what you stand for. You will discover:

  • what you find important;
  • what you want to build;
  • what you say “yes” to;
  • what you say “no” to.

And then you make choices that suit you, and you accept that you sometimes make the wrong choice. But not the choices of your environment or ingrained patterns. It is about you or your team!

3. Learning to understand, accept, and look forward with ACT

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a great way to gain insight into what limits you in making appropriate choices and what constitutes effective behavior for making the right choices.

Stop fighting what is already there. ACT helps you to:

  • see the current situation as it is
  • deal with thoughts and feelings differently
  • choose behavior that aligns with your values

So yes: accept. And then: do what works for you or your team.
